STg will donate a portion of its semen sales

to U.S. dairy breed associations’ youth programs as part of its recently announced financial commitment sponsorship

NAVASOTA, Texas — Global livestock reproductive services leader STgenetics® (STg®) will donate a portion of its semen sales to U.S. dairy breed associations’ youth programs as part of its recently announced financial commitment to sponsor all of these dairy breed associations’ annual conventions scheduled during the next month.

STg will donate $1 from the sale of every semen straw from a particular breed to its respective breed association youth programs during the course of that breed association’s convention. The company has long recognized the importance of youth involvement in sustaining and growing the dairy industry. STg® firmly believes helping groom the next generation of dairy producers is essential to living its corporate ideal that “the best way to predict the future is to create it.”

The annual conventions for the Holstein, Jersey, Brown Swiss, Ayrshire, Red & White Holstein, Guernsey and Milking Shorthorn associations offer breeders and association officials a chance to gather together and exchange ideas and information aimed at moving their breeds forward in the continuously changing landscape of the dairy industry.

Customers interested in supporting their breed association’s youth through semen purchases can contact the STg Dairy Call Center (Dairy@STgen.com, 844.828.7849), their local sales representative or STgenetics® representatives attending the conventions. A listing of sales representatives is available at www.STgen.com under the “Contact” heading.
